  • Dr. Kenney's developmental approach to executive function screening

  • Data integration for treatment planning

  • Cognitive skill coaching activities (ages 4-11)

  • 3-5 minute attention, memory, response inhibition & cognitive flexibility activities (PreK-5th grade; adaptable to diversity)

Dr. Kenney has written over 100 cognitive skill coaching activities and eight rhythmic coordinative movement programs, many of which can be found in 70 Play Activities and Move, More Learn More. Her CogniSuite activities are used by teachers, clinicians, and parents in over 20 countries. With permission, clinicians have translated some of her work into French, Italian, Spanish, and Greek.

In this workshop, she will share the methods she uses in clinical practice at Wellington-Alexander Center, beginning with her approach of observing the developmental pillar skills to identify children's strengths and challenges in abilities that commonly affect learning and behavior.

From a discussion of data-based interventions to activities you can use today! Dr. Kenney will also share content slated for publication in 2027 that supports brief executive function coaching lessons for the clinic & classroom.
