Why It Works?
The combination of art, music and movement allows children to practice the felt sense of slowing down offering them an opportunity to think things through.
The music is based on traditional nursery rhymes at a slow tempo creating a relaxing experience. Each mat has its own song and full body movements that are specifically designed to provide a series of vestibular and proprioceptive input. Great for circle time as well!
If you prefer to not integrate our music collection, no problem! Easily utilize the mats without music or pair with some of your favorite calming tunes. The only limitation is your imagination!
Where & How We Use It?
Anywhere! Simply unroll the mat, scan the QR code, and sing and move to experience a moment of calm. Place your mat in the hallway, classroom, gym, playground, or at home on a clean floor surface or attach it to the wall. It's constructed of thick, durable material that is extra reinforced to last for years. Each mat is approximately 2.5 feet wide by 8 feet long.
Classrooms have used Cognitivities® to set the tone for their day in a peaceful way. Download the guide included or access the support videos and you are ready to use.
When you are finished, just roll up and store. The mat can be cleaned, or sanitized to ensure safe use by multiple users.
